So long as it’s a hard, flat, smooth surface, you can install our luxury vinyl flooring on it. And yes, this includes bathrooms, kitchens and basements. Since our flooring is 100% waterproof, there's nothing to worry about when it comes to having our flooring installed in your bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere else for that matter.

Calculating how much vinyl flooring you’ll need for a project is usually simple. First, determine the total square footage of a room by multiplying the length and width of the floor. Add 5-10 percent to this number for wastage just in case – more may be required if your room has a lot of angles and corners that will require additional cuts. Then, look at how many square feet are in each box of vinyl flooring you are looking to purchase. Next, divide the total square footage of flooring you’ll need by the number of square feet in each box. This will tell you how many boxes to purchase.

Concrete, tile, hardwood or plywood? Yes you can! So long as it’s a hard, flat, smooth surface, you can install our luxury vinyl over it. Flooring such as carpet, chipboard, particleboard, or an existing floating floor should be removed before laying vinyl flooring down. It is also crucial to ensure your subfloor is free of bumps and imperfections before installation.

The installer we recommend charges $2/sqft. Generally an installer can fit you into their schedule within the month, but each case is different and this would have to be discussed with them directly.

All of our 7” x 48” x 6.5mm planks are the same price. Just as all of our 9” x 60” x 6.5mm planks are the same price. Same goes for the WPC 7 Series luxury vinyl! We make it easy to remember what you're paying.

Generally you can receive your flooring within a week of placing your order. This is because we at Proper Floors import our own flooring and store it at a warehouse located in Brantford, ON.

Yes we do! We offer delivery to anywhere in Ontario (or farther). For delivery pricing, please contact us directly. We're sure you will find our delivery rates to be very reasonable.

Yes we do! We accept returns on all of our luxury vinyl flooring so long as the boxes are unopened, undamaged and are not a discontinued colour. All returns must be made within 30 days of the order pickup/delivery date. The first 2 boxes returned will receive a full refund. Any boxes thereafter will incur a 20% re-stocking fee.

Yes! There is an IXPE foam underlay attached to all our luxury vinyl planks. The IIC rating of the underlay ranges from 65-78 depending on the product - the higher the IIC rating, the greater the underlay is at absorbing noise (and 60+ is considered high!)

Yes you can! Our luxury vinyl flooring comes with an attached IXPE foam underlay which helps to keep your floors feeling warm and comfortable to walk on. You can also install it directly on top of concrete!

We at Proper Floors make the stair-nosings ourselves and can do so with *any vinyl flooring even if it’s from a DIFFERENT company! All you have to do is bring in your vinyl planks and we will bend them for you!

NOTE: If you choose to provide the material, please include an additional 2 planks to compensate for potential damage during the bending process.
